Il De Educatione del Galateo, un manuale di learning teaching

The contribution examines the text of Antonio de' Ferrariis, De Educatione. This represents a pedagogical reflection on the importance of communicating humanistic values through appropriate educational actions. Antonio de' Ferrariis's text also reveals the political dream of an Italian nation united in a single power center. Contrary to this possibility seems to orient the policy of the papacy, which is only inclined to defend its power; but also contribute to France and Spain, which Galateo believes are responsible for corrupting Italian costumes, for their presence on Italian soil in prevailing political (and therefore cultural) conditions.
