The general objectives of the Environmental Survey — Families (EMAF) are to investigate the habits, consumption patterns and attitudes of households in relation to the environment, housing equipment and use in relation to the different environmental aspects, so that environmental policies related to households can be formulated (energy savings, reduction of energy consumption, separation of garbage, etc.). In addition, the study allows the obtaining of comparable indicators by Autonomous Communities. As a final objective, which is not a priority, it would also be a question of achieving comparability with other countries that have carried out such studies.家庭环境调查（Environmental Survey — Families, EMAF）的总体目标为：调研家庭在环境相关领域的行为习惯、消费模式与态度，以及家庭住房设备及其在不同环境层面下的使用情况，进而为制定面向家庭的环境政策（如节能降耗、垃圾分类等）提供支撑。此外，本研究可生成西班牙各自治区间可比的环境指标。作为非优先的最终目标，本研究还将力求与已开展同类环境调查的其他国家实现数据可比性。
