1981-2050年维多利亚湖流域需水量估算数据集

数据集是维多利亚湖流域内五国16子流域共20个子流域单元1981-2020年历史时段和2021-2050年未来时段年总需水量数据，用年需水深度表示。该数据集的需水量数据是根据各单元的人口密度和用水定额计算获得。其中，各单元的人口密度是根据维多利亚湖流域内各国的行政区在1981-2020年期间的人口普查数据估算的，用水定额是根据2022-2023年期间在流域内五个国家所做的需水量调查数据、联合国推荐数据、FAO发布的历年用水数据确定的，二者均是时间系列数据。This dataset contains annual total water demand data, expressed as annual water demand depth, for 20 sub-basin units belonging to 16 sub-basins across five countries within the Lake Victoria Basin, covering the historical period 1981–2020 and the future period 2021–2050. The water demand data is calculated based on the population density and water use quota of each sub-basin unit. Specifically, the population density of each unit is estimated using census data of administrative regions of each country within the Lake Victoria Basin during 1981–2020. The water use quota is determined based on three sources: water demand survey data conducted in the five basin countries during 2022–2023, data recommended by the United Nations, and annual water use data published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Both datasets are time series data.
