Soil volumetric water content (VWC; 15 and 30 cm depths), air temperature, relative humidity, actual vapor pressure, saturation vapor pressure, and vapor pressure deficit data measured every 4 hours at Schenck Memorial Forest (35° 49' 1.6” N, 78° 43' 35” W) in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2021. the North Carolina State Climate Office (NCSCO; 35° 48’ 36” N, 78° 44' 23.9994” W) from June 1st, 2021 at 00:00 to August 31st, 2021 at 23:00. Soil VWC was obtained with time-domain reflectometry soil moisture sensors (model CS616; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT) and air temperature and relative humidity was obtained with a temperature and relative humidity sensor (HMP50; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT) on a data logger (CR1000; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT). Metadata file that contains column descriptions is included.
