Migrations of Slovene workers in the Federal Republic Germany

his study is part of a research project concerning migration of Slovene workers to Federal Republic Germany, consisting of three parts: a study of Slovene economic Emigrants to Germany in 1974, a present study in 1976 of their counterpart control group of Pairs staying in Slovenia and of Remigrant workers, who return from work in Germany. Same questions are included in both surveys, with an exception of questions, concerning work and living abroad and feelings after return. Main topics are: job characteristics; satisfaction with job; income; housing; amount of savings; economic situation; intention of going abroad; change of education and qualification level in last five years; speaking of German language; Slovene and German magazines reading; standard socio-demographic variables.
