Soundscape Citizen Science Potential in Chilean Patagonia's Queulat National Park

A soundscape-based citizen science (CS) program was developed and tested within Queulat National Park (QNP), a protected area (PA) experiencing overtourism in recent years, along Chilean Patagonia’s Route of National Parks. Research employed visitor intercepts to recruit 650 CS volunteers for a brief listening exercise and survey at three QNP sites, during the peak tourism season —February 2022.

本研究开发并测试了一款基于声景的公民科学（Citizen Science, CS）项目，该项目落地于智利巴塔哥尼亚国家公园之路沿线的昆劳尔国家公园（Queulat National Park, QNP）——这片保护区（Protected Area, PA）近年来正面临过度旅游问题。研究采用游客拦截招募的方式，在2022年2月的旅游旺季期间，于QNP的三个站点招募了650名CS志愿者，为其开展了一项简短的听音实验与问卷调查。
