Territorial Bases for Census 2001

The territorial bases for the censuses originate from the Population Regulations (d.p.r.r. 223/1989) and are realised with the aim of assigning to each detector an area of its own competence. This allows better organisation of data collection, minimising errors due to omissions or duplications in unit detection. The main objects contained in the territorial bases are: — administrative limits (national, regional, provincial and municipal); —locality limits (populated and productive locations) and special areas; — census section limits.本普查所采用的地域基准数据集源自《人口条例》（d.p.r.r. 223/1989），其设立初衷是为每名普查员划定专属负责辖区。此举可优化数据采集的组织工作，最大限度降低因普查单元登记漏登、重登引发的误差。该地域基准数据集包含的核心内容如下： —— 行政边界（国家级、大区级、省级与市级行政边界）； —— 聚居点与生产性点位边界及特殊区域； —— 普查小区边界。
