Background variables: basic characteristics/ housing situation/ household characteristics/ occupation/employment/ income/capital assets/ education/ social class/ politics/ religion/ consumption of durables/ readership, mass media, and 'cultural' exposure/ organizational membership</p>三项针对奈梅亨（Nijmegen）居民社会与文化活动及生活境况的独立调查项目。涵盖内容包括：受访者在奈梅亨的居住时长、居住街区的社会地位、（过往）工作的多维度情况、教会会员身份及教会内的特殊职务或职能、参与教会团体或俱乐部的活跃程度；关于来世、《圣经》为神之话语、天堂、地狱、炼狱与魔鬼是否存在的相关看法；受访者（及其父母）的国籍；少数族裔与荷兰民众整体间的社会不平等状况；政治关注度；教育经历；各类团体、组织、俱乐部与协会的会员身份；参与各类组织的每周时长；开展助老等社会活动的组织情况；受访者近半年来是否向他人提供社会支持、投入时长与时间分配情况；非周末时段的每日看电视时长；日均看电视时长（含周六、周日）；收看新闻简报与新闻节目的情况；多款电视节目的收看频率；去年及终生内观赏古典音乐会、歌剧、芭蕾舞、博物馆与艺术展的频率；书籍与报纸的阅读情况；配偶的教育背景与职业状况；男女社会不平等状况；收入差距；财务预期；本国贫富群体间的差异；父亲的教育与职业状况；受访者童年时期的住房情况、父母的阅读习惯、父母观赏歌剧、戏剧、音乐会、博物馆与艺术展的频率；堕胎、安乐死与自杀相关看法；社交网络情况：三位联系人的年龄、性别、职业、教育程度、宗教信仰、政治倾向、与受访者的关系及联系频率；关于以下主题的观点：人生中重要的事物、个人特质、荷兰最严峻的政治问题、宗教、基督教、更高力量的存在性、世界中的善与恶、苦难与死亡、人生观对决策与日常生活的影响、少数族裔与荷兰民众间不平等的成因、言论自由与示威自由、人类观、政治目标、荷兰民众的特质、情绪与问题应对方式、社会支持、少数族裔的特质、收看电视的原因、就业的重要性、性别角色、男女不平等的成因、本地新闻、俱乐部与组织的重要性、对居住街区的满意度、贫富差距存在的成因、工会、同居或婚姻关系中的家务分工、近几周的情绪平衡状态。1993年新增专项主题：街区内的在校儿童情况、周边商铺情况、参与社区活动的频率、与邻居的关系、与邻里的交谈话题、街区内的不安全感、盗窃与攻击性伤害受害经历；父母的政治倾向；岳父/公公与岳母/婆婆的教育及职业状况；配偶的政治关注度与党派倾向、同居或婚姻关系中的育儿分工；街区新闻简报的阅读情况。背景变量包括：基本特征、住房情况、家庭特征、职业/就业状况、收入、金融资产、教育水平、社会阶层、政治立场、宗教信仰、耐用消费品消费情况、阅读习惯、大众传媒接触情况与"文化"接触情况、组织成员身份。
