The data comprises multi-neuron responses recorded with silicon electrode arrays in the primary visual cortex of anethetized cats. Specifically, the spike times of ten (10) simultaneously recorded cells from a single penetration in cat area 17 in response to oriented drifting bars, spatiotemporal white noise, and a dynamic natural scene movie.
