This file provides the number of persons assisted by EPCI under the Family Reception of Persons with Disabilities (AFPH) scheme and the amounts of aid granted. Where an EPCI has fewer than 5 beneficiaries, the data shall be anonymised. In total, in 2023, there were 182 beneficiaries at departmental level for a total expenditure of EUR 2 314 395.36. The data relate to the period during which the services were provided (service provided). The AFPH is aimed at any person with a disability who cannot be usefully assisted at home. If she consents, she can be welcomed into a family home. It consists in the reception, for consideration, at the home of a third party who has obtained the approval of the President of the Department, of a person with a disability. The foster family member is remunerated by the host: the Department is not his employer. Hosts may apply for social assistance to cover accommodation costs in the event of insufficient resources.
