资源简介:
This data set consists of the qualitative interview codebook from the transcriptions. Also attached is the table of themes and subthemes. The phenomena of flow states is examined in the context of Indian performing artists who bring spirituality to their artistic work. Ten participants, chosen through purposive sampling, discussed their thoughts, feelings, and experiences on spirituality, self-perception, and the positive effects of flow states when engaging in artistic pursuits. The research reveals that these artists regard spirituality as a significant part of their artistic journey that strengthens their connection to others, a higher reality, and themselves. Participants discussed their art as a way to surrender to something greater than themselves and as a way to communicate with the divine. Importantly, they explain how participating in their art form encourages emotions of gratitude, introspection, and problem-solving abilities beyond their creativity. This study addresses an important gap in the literature by focusing on the experiences of spiritually inclined performing artists, a topic that has received little attention in the body of work on flow states and spirituality.
