This dataset allows for the exploration of cortical genes at across different timepoints (ZT2, ZT6, ZT10, ZT14, ZT 18, ZT22) in control C57BL/6J mice compared to microglia-depleted C57BL/6J mice (10 day PLX5622 treatment). Overall design: C57BL/6J mice were fed either control diet or diet containing the CSF1R inhibitor PLX5622 (1200 ppm) for 10 days. Following treatment, brains were harvested at Zeitgeber times (ZT): ZT2, ZT6, ZT10, ZT14, ZT18, and ZT22. Brains were microdissected for bulk-tissue RNA sequencing (RNAseq) of the cortex. N=4 per group except for control ZT14 which has N=3.
