Evaluating the toxicity of two endocrine disrupting chemicals, BPA and TBBPA using a larval zebrafish transcriptomic approach

We use a larval zebrafish model to assess the transcriptomic alterations caused by sub-phenotypic concentrations of two endocrine disrupting drugs: BPA and TBBPA. Overall design: We use two approaches to evaluate potential toxicological mechanisms; we determine differentially expressed genes, and compare serial dilutions of each drug to the vehicle control and we determine the Point of Departure (POD) for each drug by modelling gene expression changes as continuous systems.
