Orthomosaic and digital surface model of ASPA101, Antarctica 11th November 2024

Taylor Colony (ASPA101) orthomosaic and digital surface model compiled from nadir imagery acquired from a 1434 image mission by a DJI Matrice 300 quadcopter with a Zenmuse P1 35 mm RGB camera. Images were processed within Agisoft Metashape Professional. Flights were conducted and imagery processed by Dr Gwilym Price with quality control checks conducted by Dr Dan Wilkins. Field assistance was provided by the A Cleaner Antarctica Mawson field team, Dr Catherine King and Dr Kathryn Brown.This imagery provides accurate population information for the emperor penguin colony at ASPA101 (Taylor Rookery, Mac. Robertson Land, Antarctica) on the November 11th 2024, and provides modern, high-resolution imagery of the entire ASPA. Aerial population information in matched with ground-based oblique images captured on November 11th 2024.This data package includes an orthomosaic (TIF file) with 1 cm ground sampling distance (GSD), a digital elevation model (DEM, TIF file) with 1.9 cm GSD, a point cloud (las file), and data processing report (PDF).

本数据集包含泰勒聚居地（ASPA101）的正射影像镶嵌图（orthomosaic）与数字表面模型（digital surface model），其原始数据由搭载禅思P1 35毫米RGB相机的DJI经纬M300四旋翼无人机执行1434张影像的飞行任务所采集的天底影像（nadir imagery）处理生成。
所有影像均在Agisoft Metashape Professional软件中完成后期处理。本次飞行任务与影像处理工作由格威利姆·普莱斯博士负责，丹·威尔金斯博士承担质量核查工作。野外协助工作由“清洁南极”莫森野外工作队、凯瑟琳·金博士与凯瑟琳·布朗博士提供。
本套影像采集于2024年11月11日，可为南极麦克罗伯逊地ASPA101区域（泰勒聚居地）的帝企鹅聚居地提供精准的种群数量信息，同时覆盖整个ASPA区域的高分辨率现代航拍影像。本次航拍获取的种群相关信息，与同日采集的地面倾斜影像完成了匹配校准。
本数据包包含以下内容：地面采样距离（ground sampling distance, GSD）为1厘米的TIF格式正射影像镶嵌图、地面采样距离为1.9厘米的TIF格式数字高程模型（digital elevation model, DEM）、LAS格式点云文件，以及数据处理PDF报告。
