List of theses and dissertations on railway history and heritage (1974-2020)

Survey of theses and dissertations in Brazilian postgraduate programmes defended between 1974 and 2020. The data was collected from the CAPES database of theses and dissertations. The following items were considered: author, supervisor (when informed), title, year, type of monograph (thesis or dissertation), Postgraduate Programme, Area of Knowledge (CNPq table). Keywords related directly or indirectly to railway heritage or history were also assigned, according to the following criteria: historical period; corporate name; institutional name; social name; geographical name; profession; company; object of study; main themes of the work; area or sub-area of knowledge; predefined terms (list of railway or heritage terms established by the research group, according to DELVIZIO; OLIVEIRA, 2017; DELVIZIO; LATANZI; OLIVEIRA, 2020).

本数据集针对1974年至2020年间巴西各研究生培养项目中答辩通过的学位论文与硕士论文开展调研。数据采集自CAPES学位论文数据库。本次调研涵盖以下条目：作者、指导教师（若有提供）、论文标题、答辩年份、专著类型（学位论文或硕士论文）、研究生培养项目、知识领域（CNPq分类表）。同时依据以下标准，为与铁路遗产或铁路历史直接或间接相关的论文标注关键词：历史时期、企业名称、机构名称、社会名称、地理名称、职业称谓、公司名称、研究对象、论文核心主题、知识领域或子领域、预定义术语（研究小组参照DELVIZIO与OLIVEIRA（2017）、DELVIZIO、LATANZI与OLIVEIRA（2020）制定的铁路或遗产术语列表）。
