Bacteriophage lambda mutant virus libraries

A library of mutant viruses of bacteriophage lambda was produced containing mutations in the host recognition gene J that are important in host receptor use. Mutant virus libraries were subjected to a variety of environmental conditions and sequencing was used to quantify changes in variant frequencies in different environments to study how the effects of each mutation changed across different environments.
