XMM spectroscopy of Seyfert I AGNs
收藏资源简介:
GT Below 2 keV, the xray spectra of many AGNs deviates from a simple power lawcontinuum absorbed by Galactic material. In particular, a large fraction of type1 active galactic nuclei show Kshells absorption edges of warm oxygencharacteristic of optically thin, photoionized material along the line of sightto the central engine, the socalled warm absorber. The high spectral resolutionof RGS combined with the possibility of long uninterrupted observations will beused to study the spectral structure and time variability of the warm absorberand to derive further constraints on the distribution of the photoionized plasmasurrounding the AGNs central source. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
