Developer Activity Dataset

This dataset was created to study developer expertise and ranking in open-source projects, based on contributions, interactions, and technical proficiency. It includes developer activity from the top 10 trending Python repositories on GitHub, capturing key metrics such as: Zipf’s Law (Syntax Proficiency) – Measures a developer's familiarity with programming constructs. Degree of Knowledge (DoK) – Represents expertise based on long-term engagement in a project. Network Centrality – Evaluates a developer's collaborative influence within the repository. The dataset is structured to support research in expertise evaluation, software engineering analytics, and developer collaboration.
