Daily sea surface temperature in Santa Barbara channel between 1982 and 2021

This data package contains sea surface temperature (SST) data in the Santa Barbara Channel area. Data was obtained from the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) at 0.25° resolution for the time between 1982 and 2021. This Daily Optimum Interpolation Sea Surface Temperature (OISST) Analysis (Version 2.1) derived its data from satellite (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR)) and in situ platforms (i.e., ships and buoys) and yielded 18 gird points within the Santa Barbara Channel.本数据包涵盖圣巴巴拉海峡区域的海表面温度（sea surface temperature, SST）数据。数据来源于美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA）下属的国家环境信息中心（National Centers for Environmental Information, NCEI），空间分辨率为0.25°，时间跨度为1982年至2021年。该每日最优插值海表面温度（Daily Optimum Interpolation Sea Surface Temperature, OISST）分析数据集（版本2.1）的数据来源于卫星搭载的先进甚高分辨率辐射计（Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer, AVHRR）以及原位观测平台（即船舶与浮标），在圣巴巴拉海峡区域内共包含18个格点。
