Genome resolved taxonomic and functional profiling during periods of high performance and system upset in a full-scale mixed microalgal wastewater resource recovery facility

The goal of this project is to characterize the mixed microalgal communities and identify the operational and environmental drivers that govern their interactions and system performance (i.e., nutrient removal and biomass production). We performed shotgun metagenomics sequencing of the mixed microalgal biomass for over a year to characterize the taxonomic and functional profiling of the microbial communities.
