The Yelp reviews dataset (YelpReviewFull) consists of reviews from Yelp, extracted from the Yelp Dataset Challenge 2015 data. It is mainly used for text classification tasks, particularly sentiment classification: given the text, predict the sentiment. The dataset includes 650,000 training samples and 50,000 testing samples, each comprising a review text and the corresponding star rating (1-5 stars). The reviews are primarily in English and were constructed by Xiang Zhang et al., first used as a text classification benchmark.
