METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING JUMP ENDURANCE AND SPEED-STRENGTH QUALITIES IN VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS
收藏资源简介:
The present article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing jump endurance and speed-strength qualities in volleyball players within the framework of specialized sports training. Particular attention is paid to the physical demands of modern volleyball, in which the effectiveness of attacking, blocking, jump setting, and power serving largely depends on an athlete’s ability to generate high levels of muscular force within a short period of time, repeatedly perform explosive jumping actions, and maintain technical accuracy under conditions of increasing fatigue. The study analyzes the role of plyometric exercises, speed-strength training, volleyball-specific jumping drills, coordination tasks, and repeated-jump exercises in improving athletes’ special physical preparedness. The methodological approach proposed in this paper is based on the integrated development of basic strength, explosive power, repeated-jump capacity, motor coordination, and volleyball-specific technical performance. Particular emphasis is placed on differentiating training loads according to athletes’ level of physical preparedness, playing position, age, and the specific demands of competitive activity. It is argued that the development of jumping ability in volleyball should not be limited to improving maximum vertical jump height. A more comprehensive approach should also focus on maintaining jumping efficiency, movement quality, and technical accuracy during repeated high-intensity efforts. The proposed training methodology may contribute to improving the special physical preparedness of volleyball players and enhancing the efficiency of their technical actions during competitive performance.
