Achromobacter spp. UCR-ACH1 was isolated from grapevine tissue and have shown biocontrol efficacy against the phytopathogenic bacterium Xylella fastidiosa, the causal agent of Pierces Disease of grapevine. The two draft genomes indicate several gene clusters linked to biocontrol activities against plant pathogens.
