Transcriptome or Gene expression of Populus davidiana x Populus alba var. pyramidalis

RNA-seq analysis indicated that 1,015 genes were up-regulated, and 961 genes were down-regulated after GA3 treatment. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were found to be mainly related to plant hormone signal transduction, phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, diterpenoid biosynthesis and photosynthesis processes. Further analysis of these DEGs suggested that GA3 treatment may enhance plant biomass by regulating the expression of genes involved in cell elongation, root growth, and xylem formation.
