Capsaicin-rich diets are reported to be closely associated with the risk of Alzheimer disease (AD). However, the specific impact of capsaicin intake on AD-related pathologies and the underlying biological mechanisms remained unclear. This project aims to investigate the relationship and mechanisms between long-term high-spice diet and AD, particularly focusing on the role of the gut-brain axis.
