This study aims to synthesize and evaluate the physicochemical properties, biocompatibility, and mechanisms of peptide hydrogels in inhibiting PUMILIO-mediated E2F3 degradation, reducing oxidative stress, suppressing macrophage infiltration, and delaying nucleus pulposus cell (NPCs) senescence. Additionally, it seeks to uncover the underlying molecular mechanisms through single-cell sequencing and transcriptomics, exploring the potential therapeutic value of these hydrogels in the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD)
