Sample Dry Weights

Dry weights (tonnes/ha) of near surface vegetation (< 25 cm in height) collected in four land cover types in Victoria, Australia. Ten circular 0.15m radius samples were randomly located within one 10 m radius plot for each landcover type. Samples were mulched and weighed. 100g subsamples were then extracted and dryed following NSW DPI (2004). The relative decrease in weight was then applied to the total sample given the final dry weight expressed.
