ASV data for "Decadal patterns link viruses to methanogen bloom collapse and Desulforudis persistence in a tectonic aquifer"

This repository contains processed 16S rRNA amplicon sequence data supporting a longitudinal investigation of microbial community dynamics in BLM1, a deep-groundwater monitoring well within the Death Valley Regional Flow System. The study examines changes in microbial community composition across sampling campaigns conducted in 2007, 2011, and 2021. The deposited materials include the raw ASV plus taxonomy table. Primary 16S rRNA sequence data generated for this study are deposited in the NCBI databases under BioProject PRJNA1503083. The processed ASV and taxonomy data are provided here for completeness, reproducibility, and ease of access, allowing researchers to directly examine the microbial community profiles used in the study and reproduce downstream analyses.
