Table 1 – Flare contamination probabilities for Ariel targets with derived flare activity indicators (G. Galletta et al. 2026)
收藏资源简介:
This table is presented in G. Galletta et al. (2026), “Characterizing Stellar Flares in Ariel Targets: Activity Analysis and Transit Contamination”. It lists the subset of Ariel target planets for which a flare contamination probability could be computed from well-constrained two-segment flare frequency distributions. For each system we report: the stellar identifier and planet name (Star, Planet), the stellar bolometric luminosity with its uncertainty (Lbol (L_star/L_sun)), the high-energy FFD slope (slope), the normalized flare activity index (GF.01), the intercept of the FFD (Intercept), and the break energy separating the two FFD regimes (Energy break). We also provide the probability of observing at least one flare during a typical transit visit for two energy thresholds, corresponding to flares releasing 100% and 10% of the stellar bolometric luminosity (Prob 100% Lbol [%] and Prob 10% Lbol [%]). These quantities enable a direct assessment of the expected flare impact on Ariel transit spectroscopy and allow identification of high-risk targets, particularly among low-luminosity, flare-active stars.
