高原鼢鼠和高原鼠兔是广泛分布于青藏高原及周边平原地区的特有种和关键物种,不同的地理位置和生态环境造成了多样化的物种形成。这些物种的起源和演化的研究还有待完善。同时,它们的地理分布和形态特征是很好的研究高原适应和适应性进化的材料,比较高原与其他低海拔平原近缘种的基因组、转录组和表观遗传组学的分析,能够帮助解析高原适应的机制,初步探索表观修饰在高原适应中发挥作用的机制。2021年集中在青海省共采集16个动物的组织样本共计112份。本数据集包含一个样品信息表,样品信息表包含物种、品种、详细采样地、样品类型、采集时间、采集人、保存方式等基本样品信息,以excel表形式存储。为探讨高原旗舰物种的高原适应性进化问题,对青海玛多县和拉脊山地区16个高原鼢鼠、鼠兔个体开展ChIP-seq测序转录组测序,每个个体产生15Gb数据,共600Gb。数据以fastq格式存储。
Plateau zokors and plateau pikas are endemic and keystone species widely distributed across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding plain areas. Diverse geographical locations and ecological environments have driven diversified speciation of these taxa, yet studies on their origin and evolutionary history remain incomplete. Moreover, their geographical distributions and morphological characteristics serve as excellent model systems for investigating plateau adaptation and adaptive evolution. Comparative analyses of genomes, transcriptomes, and epigenomes between plateau-endemic species and their low-altitude plain relatives can help elucidate the mechanisms underlying plateau adaptation, and preliminarily explore the roles of epigenetic modifications in this adaptive process.
In 2021, a total of 112 tissue samples from 16 animals were collected across Qinghai Province. This dataset includes a sample information table stored in Excel format, which contains basic sample metadata such as species, breed, detailed sampling location, sample type, collection date, collector, and preservation method.
To explore the adaptive evolution of plateau flagship species, we performed ChIP-seq and transcriptome sequencing on 16 individuals of plateau zokors and pikas sampled from Maduo County and Lajishan Mountain regions of Qinghai Province. Each individual generated 15 Gb of sequencing data, resulting in a total of 600 Gb of raw data. All sequencing data are stored in FASTQ format.
