Pluteus, being a wood-rot fungus, bears considerable ecological importance. Among the aforementioned groups, the sect. Hispidoderma is distinguished by a pileipellis resembling a trichoderm, which positions it in a transitional category within the classification of Pluteus.

光柄菇属（Pluteus）作为一类木腐真菌，具有颇高的生态重要性。在前述类群中，糙皮组（sect. Hispidoderma）以拥有类似毛皮型（trichoderm）的菌盖表皮（pileipellis）为典型特征，这使其在光柄菇属的分类系统中处于过渡类群的位置。
