This sheet gives access to the localised data on the coverage of the department in prescribed and approved natural risk prevention plans. The Risk Prevention Plans (PPR) were established by the Act of 2 February 1995 on strengthening the protection of the environment. They are prepared by the State under the authority of the Prefect of Department. The PPRNs delineate areas exposed to major natural risk, regulate urbanisation according to the current occupation of the territory and the level of danger, and include measures to reduce vulnerability and safeguard existing issues. These plans may be under development (prescribed), implemented in advance or approved. They can also be cancelled. Once approved, they are public easements and must be annexed to the local urban plans of the municipalities concerned. In the summary table of documents, each PPRN is identified by a polygon that corresponds to all the municipalities affected by the PPRN whether it is prescribed, approved or cancelled. This geographical table makes it possible to give an overview of the situation in the department, of the municipalities concerned by a PPRN. Two points of attention are brought to the attention of the user of this table: — this table does not map the envelopes impacted by the risks. — in the same municipality of the department, there may exist simultaneously an approved PPRN, and a prescribed PPRN (e.g.).
