Raw ISH data for Experiment I and II

Experiment I: Honey bees were collected 5, 15, or 30 min following an aggressive encounter or interaction with an inanimate object. In situ hybridization for immediate early genes hr38 and egr1 was performed on fresh-frozen brain sections cut on a cryostat. Experiment II: Honey bees were collected 15 min following an aggressive, affiliative, or neutral encounter using the same assay above with the addition of a caregiving assay. Same sample processing and analysis was performed. R script provides code for t-tests (Exp I), ANOVA (Exp II) and PCA (Exp II).实验一：将蜜蜂在与无生命物体发生攻击性遭遇或互动后的5、15或30分钟时进行采集。采用冷冻切片机制备新鲜冰冻脑组织切片，并对其开展即刻早期基因hr38与egr1的原位杂交实验。实验二：将蜜蜂在发生攻击性、亲和性或中性互动后的15分钟时采集，沿用上述实验测定范式，新增照料行为测定环节。样本处理与分析流程与实验一保持一致。R脚本提供了t检验（实验一）、方差分析（实验二）及主成分分析（实验二）的代码。
