资源简介:
The GNSS observations are obtained from 3 geodetic networks deployed at Deception Island used for the study of the surface deformation parameter. These networks are: DIESID, REGID, and RENID. There are data on these geodetic networks since the 1991-1992 campaign. The DIESID system (Dilatómetro e Inclinómetro de la Isla Decepción) consists of 3 stations that record data continuously during each Antarctic campaign (approximately 3 months). One of the stations in the system (BEGC) has been recording data continuously since 2017. This system has been the geodesic structure for the surveillance of volcanic activity in quasi-real-time. The REGID network (Red Geodésica de la Isla Decepción) consists of 15 geodetic benchmarks located around Port Foster, Deception's inner bay. Each benchmark is observed 7 days per campaign. The RENID network (Red de Nivelación de la Isla Decepción) consists of 48 vertices distributed in 6 independent lines located around Puerto Foster, with an observation period of 2 days per campaign. These networks are used to monitor volcanic activity and study regional tectonics. The data provided are raw, not processed.
GEO2OCEAN project is responsible for the recording and maintenance of geodetic, geothermal, and oceanographic time series at Deception and Livingston Islands. The geodetic time series began in 1991, the geothermal time series in 2011, and the oceanographic time series in 2012. This activity is led by Dr. Manuel Berrocoso Domínguez of the University of Cadiz (Spain).
