It could be sughave given rise to this genus; gesting that Condorodus n. gen. or be at the base of the family gave rise to the basal Ozarkodinids Cyrtoniodontidae. in the Upper Ordovician.Possible would be at the base of the Order Ozarkodinida, and perhaps it is phylogenetically related to the genera Plectodina, Bryantodina and Yaoxianognathus.
