VPRS 21579 Brunswick Library Plan Collection

This series comprises plans showing various types of infrastructure in the Brunswick, Coburg and Moonee Ponds suburbs of Melbourne. The plans were created by a range of contractors including Walter Burley Griffin, the Reverberatory Incinerator and Engineering Company, Evander McIver, and others for the City of Brunswick (VA 2285). The plans show refuse incinerator furnace, trimming and tipping floors; battery type incinerator furnaces; bridges; roads, streets and section lines from surveys; and Shire plans covering the entirety of Coburg, including all streets, roads and rights of way. Prior to coming into PROV’s custody, the records had been held by the Brunswick Town Hall and City of Brunswick (Brunswick Library).
