Aetokthonos hydrillicola presence dataset.csv

This dataset contains occurrence records for an invasive and toxic species of cyanobacteria, <em>Aetokthonos hydrillicola,</em> growing on <em>Hydrilla verticillata</em>. Records include the lake name, latitude and longitude coordinates, and the state in which the occurence was documented. Samples of <em>Hydrilla verticillata </em>were collected using a throw rake. A subset of leaves from Hydrilla samples was removed and mounted on microscope slides. Presence of <em>Aetokthonos hydrillicola </em>was confirmed using epifluorescent microscopy. GPS coordinates, lake names, and states were recorded for each Hydrilla sample location.
