This dataset consist of summaries of the accounts of the steward of Leiden University 1599-1811 in Word-format. The summaries of 1704 en 1715 are incomplete. The dataset has been created during the research phase for the PhD thesis: Sluijter, Ronald. 2004. 'Tot ciraet, vermeerderinge ende heerlyckmaeckinge der universiteyt'. Bestuur, instellingen, personeel en financiën van de Leidse universiteit 1572-1812. Hilversum : Verloren.
