Outline of SDMX transversal concepts (SDMX: CROSS_DOMAIN_CONCEPTS)

The cross-concept schema (version 2.0) is created from the concept sets of the SDMX glossary, which is an SDMX guide that contains the concepts and definitions that are useful for building and understanding SDMX-based data and metadata exchange agreements. The Glossary provides the definition of terms found in the SDMX Information Model, Data Structure Definitions (DSDs), and Metadata Structure Definitions (MSDs). It is recommended as a single entry point into the SDMX terminology used to facilitate communication and understanding of the standard. In summary, the message of the SDMX glossary is as follows: if a term is used, its meaning must correspond to the definition in the SDMX Glossary, and any reference to a particular phenomenon described in the SDMX Glossary must use the appropriate term. Version 1.0 of the SDMX Glossary, which replaces the Common Metadata Vocabulary (MCV) released in 2009, was completed in February 2016. The schema of transversal concepts v1.0 was created from the concepts of MCV.
