资源简介:
ISU: This research was sponsored by Federal Highway Administration Implementation Assistance Program. The purpose of this effort is to support the use of various components of the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study database by personnel from CTRE/ISU. The main objective of this project is to identify factors contributing to roadway departure crashes/near crashes and develop a proof of concept to evaluate road departure risk for two to three roadway types. The study will look at driver, environmental, roadway, and vehicle factors that contribute to roadway crashes and near crashes. The project will also evaluate driver behavior on curves. The dataset delivered for this AASHTO Implementation Assistance Program project consisted of a sample of detailed event tables (including trip summaries, vehicle, and driver survey results) ), forward video, and time series variables for 1734 crash-related events and 4665 baseline events from the SHRP2 NDS.
