Transportation Statistics Annual Report

Recognizing the importance of transportation and the importance of objective statistics for transportation decision-making, Congress requires the Director of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to provide the Transportation Statistics Annual Report (TSAR) each year to Congress and the President.1 BTS published the first TSAR in 1994.
