The price survey of one bottle of milk across all supermarkets in the country resulted in an average price of 129 yen in December 2021. Over the period from January 2015 to December 2021 (a span of 84 months), the month with the highest milk price across the nation was October 2021, at 129 yen, while the month with the lowest price was January 2015, at 117 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2021) and the lowest (January 2015) price periods for milk across the national area was 12.8235 yen.
