SURVEYS: Outlines of U.S. Geological Survey, Coastal and Marine Geology Program (USGS/CMGP) seafloor mapping surveys

This is a polygon GIS data layer showing the location and extent of various sidescan, multibeam and swath bathymetry surveys conducted by the USGS, Coastal and Marine Geology Program. Outlines of individual mosaic areas were combined to create one comprehensive layer that could be used to illustrate areas surveyed by USGS/CMGP seafloor mapping programs.本数据集为多边形地理信息系统（Geographic Information System，GIS）数据图层，展示了美国地质调查局（United States Geological Survey，USGS）海岸与海洋地质项目（Coastal and Marine Geology Program，CMGP）开展的各类侧扫声呐、多波束测深及条带水深测量调查的位置与覆盖范围。研究人员已将各独立拼接测区的轮廓进行合并，生成一个综合图层，可用于直观呈现USGS/CMGP海底测绘项目所覆盖的全部调查区域。
