资源简介:
Bovine mastitis is considered as one of the most economically important diseases of livestock, and diverse groups of microbiotas are associated with the disease. Understanding the microbial colonization and interaction during mastitis in cattle is necessary to elucidate the progression of pathogenesis and development of sustainable preventive measures against this disease. The whole metagenome sequencing (WMS) was employed to study the total microbial genetic content in 42 bovine milk samples including 25 clinical mastitis (CM), 4 subclinical mastitis (SCM), 6 antibiotic treated (Ant), and 7 healthy (H) milk samples. Generated WMS data are being analyzed through different bioinformatics tools like PathoScope 2.0 (PS) and MG-RAST (MR) to identify the microbiomes and annotate the genomes.
