Matched SWOT River Nodes and USGS Stations Near Dam Locations throughout CONUS

This dataset contains 269 matched locations across the Contiguous United States where there is a Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite river node and a USGS monitoring station located in close proximity to a dam location. The dataset was developed to support machine-learning-based prediction of Water Surface Elevation (WSE) data at ungaged dam sites. For each matched location, the latitude and longitude of the SWOT node, Node ID, associated USGS station name and site no, closest dam name, and also the distance of the USGS station from the SWOT node are included in the dataset.
