资源简介:

Roll the dice! This small hand carved die made of bone was recovered on Boston Common near the former site of the Great Elm during an archaeological dig in the 1980's. Dice have been used for gambling and social games as far back as ancient Greek and Roman societies, and remain a widely used and recognizeable part of modern culture. Note the uneven patterning when rotating the 3d model, as this die was hand carved and each side would have had slight nuances from the craftsman's hand. It was recovered near the former site of the Great Elm, which was perhaps one of the most visited parts of the Common in the 19th century. The Great Elm was celebrated as a natural symbol of strength and unity in Boston, until a storm destroyed it in 1876.Scanned by Brian Schools. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
