Research on the Adaptive Mechanisms of the Gut Microbiota in Mongolian Wild Ass (PRJCA045328)

This project aims to systematically investigate the compositional characteristics of the gut microbiota in the Mongolian wild ass and its adaptive mechanisms to arid desert environments. Through metagenomic sequencing and functional analysis, the study will elucidate the roles of gut microorganisms in nutrient utilization, stress resistance, and host health, thereby providing a scientific basis for the conservation of endangered species and the sustainable development of desert-steppe ecosystems.
