Fire Hydrants

Beginning in the early 2000's the water system was migrated from a paper atlas mapping system to digital by Boyle Consulting who was hired to develop a digital water model of the distribution system. A combination of AutoCAD and GIS was utilized to rectify the assets. Beginning in 2009 and taking a year, City staff walked the system to verify filed locations of assets and then worked with City GIS staff to adjust and improve locations. New assets are added upon receiving asbuilt drawings from new development.21世纪初，受委托开发配水系统数字水模型的博伊尔咨询公司（Boyle Consulting）将该市政供水系统从纸质图集测绘系统迁移至数字化平台。项目团队采用AutoCAD与地理信息系统（GIS）相结合的方式，对供水设施资产进行校正。2009年起，市政工作人员耗时一年实地踏勘该系统，核实设施的档案记载点位，随后与市政GIS工作人员协作，对设施位置进行调整与优化。后续接收新建工程的竣工图后，即可将新增供水设施资产录入该系统。
