Fungus-growing Ant Refuse Dumps Community metagenome sequencing from the refuse dumps of fungus-growing ants. These include dumps from both Atta colombica and A. texana. The goal of this study is to determine if the diversity and carbohydrate-degrading potential of the bacterial communities associated with these natural composts.
