Transcriptome analysis of Nmr1 deletion mutant and wild-type strains of Nigrospora oryzae Description

Nigrospora oryzae is an important fungal species associated with plant diseases and DHN melanin biosynthesis transcription factor Nmr1 plays critical roles in biological functions. In this project, transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed to compare gene expression profiles between a Nmr1 deletion mutant and the wild-type strain of Nigrospora oryzae. Total RNA was extracted from both strains under the same culture conditions and subjected to high-throughput sequencing. The generated RNA-seq data aim to identify differentially expressed genes and regulatory pathways associated with Nmr1 deletion, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying Nmr1-related functions in Nigrospora oryzae.
